The Inside Scoop was opened in 2001 by the Bucci family. The name of the store was selected through a contest with our customers. With over two thousand entries only one customer had selected the winning name.

We use only the freshest ingredients to make our homemade ice cream, all made on the premises in North kingstown. We are dedicated to the quality of our ice cream, and most importantly committed to customer service. The company's dedication to quality has been recognized by the number of local and national awards. We have been recognized by RI Monthly Magazine as one of the top ten ice cream shops in the state. We were an Editor's Choice for Rhode Island by Yankee Travel Magazine, and won a national award for Promotion of the Year by the New England Ice Cream Restaurant Association for our "Movie Night Under the Stars".

In 2007 we added a mobile ice cream cart to bring the ultimate ice cream experience to any outdoor or indoor event, and have added a new line of signature ice cream cakes to our menu.
